April 30, 2005 Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada:  Under the direction of Jeff Cohn, Band Director, and Paula Ludtke, Choir Director, the South Whidbey High School Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band and Chamber Chorus, participated in the April 29-30, 2005 Heritage Festival competition and came away with a large portion of the Awards.  Included were the Jazz Band Gold Award, Wind Ensemble Gold Award, Chamber Chorus Silver Award, Outstanding Band Group, Sweepstakes Award - Instrumental, Adjudicator's Award and the Festival Sweepstakes Award.  The Wind Ensemble was invited to the upcoming National Heritage Festival in Boston, Massachusetts.   Congratulations to Jeff, Paula and all the outstanding musicians from South Whidbey High School, Langley, Washington.
